In the last part of the 12 issue run of Punisher written by Jason Arron and art by Jesus Saiz, the aint-hero who doesn’t hold back, wants to make the bad guys pay, and doesn’t think twice to shoot, meets a tragic ending with constant horrible fates. Is The Punisher no more? IT seems he is for now, and things aren’t looking good for him. If and when he does come back, he may have a bit more vengeance and pain in his heart.
Starting at the end of issue #11, Frank Castle (Punisher) is betrayed by his wife and shot. However in the beginning of the last issue, issue #12 of Punisher, it is revealed he is alive. But turns out, surviving was only the start of his tragic fate. He loses is recent super powers, is imprisoned by other heroes such as Wolverine, Captain America, and Doctor Strange. His wife’s life is also in Jeopardy since she is a freak of nature being resurrected by The Hand. Obviously to say, it all doesn’t end well.
