As 2018 comes to a close, we look at our annual list of popular memes of the year. 2018 was a rough year for many, with much rain and the internet in arms of political correctness and political divide of the US. Luckily, we stay out of that mess and focus on the humor of life.
However, 2018 was also a major year for fans of internet culture. There were many crazy fads (Tie Pods), many hit memes, and cosplay and gaming had a great year. It was both good and bad for comic fans in 2018. We received the Infinity War movie and Aquaman, but lost a father in comics, Stan Lee. Hoping 2019 will bring joy and love to all. Check out our list of popular memes of 2018.
Netflix mixes two of our favorite subjects, cosplay and memes! Well, crappy cosplay but still. Usually starting with the original, then animated, then the live version. With Aqauman now released and the movie making a splash, its time for some Momoa memes. There’s plenty of good jokes here based on DC’s comic book hero Aquaman. And to think, we didn’t even make fun of the costume.

The holiday classic song “Baby It’s Cold Outside” has recently made major headlines, becoming a viral story. The song is accused of having an inappropriate message and possible hostility towards women. Others have been defending the song, claiming it is a mutual couple looking for reasons to stay together. Personally, as a kid I always thought the concept was a little strange, but not near as offensive as other songs that I hear day to day. The problem here is that the song is grouped in with other light-heart, family oriented Christmas/seasonal songs. Well, were not here to debate the meaning, just make fun of it.
