The 90’s card variants for Marvel Snap are based off the X-Men animated series that was popular in the 90s’. The cartoon was shown on Fox and was remembered for its great writing, catchy theme song and staying true to much of the comics. The first 2 additions of this variant set includes the romance couple from the comics/show Gambit and Rogue. These 90’s card variants were first available in a bundle in shop released along with a new event.
Fun fact, Disney Plus will be picking up where the show left off with a new season sometime in 2023. There was also a continuing alternate comic universe from Marvel based on the characters, art, and storyline from the 90’s X-Men.
