Rule 63 of the internet. Every anime or comic book character has a version of itself as the opposite sex. This has not lost its meaning when it comes to cosplay. Rather making a statement, doing it for a laugh, or showing original talented design concepts, genderbent costumes are more popular than someone may think.

For the most part, we look for costumes redesigned for dressing up on the opposite sex. Gender bending cosplay consists of taking that look and changing it to fit the sex of the model. It is not the same as cross-dressing. In fact in many ways its the opposite. Here are some of the most impressive gender changing cosplay found around the web.

Disney Plus Streaming Service Shows & Movies

Disney plans to launch its own online streaming service for its shows in movies. Calling this service Disney Plus, it is planned to be released in early 2018. It will be a strong competition for Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, and other streaming services.


Disney currently owns Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, National Geographic, and soon Fox, along with all its other famous stories and movies. The streaming service will feature classics along with new remakes and original shows. Daredevil Cancelled On Netflix, May Move To Disney Plus or Big Screen


As a long time Daredevil fan, I am hoping this news is bittersweet. Marvel’s Daredevil (the show not the movie) on Netflix has been cancelled after a critically well received season three. MPQ: Marvel Puzzle Quest adds Character Costumes to Game

Celebrating 6 years of puzzle gaming, MPQ released many special deals and a few new costumes, including Dapper Devil Dinosaur.

Update! New costume released to celebrate Captain Marvel in theaters. New Captain Marvel outfit costume with bomber jacket.

As of Nov. 26th, 2018, Marvel Puzzle Quest has added an new collectable to the game, in the form of costumes. Alternative costumes can be found in-game for certain characters (by the cover, not all covers of that character) to wear instead of their usual attire. Although MPQ claims many more are soon to come, starting of there are 3 costumes, The heroes getting the costumes are Deadpool (It’s me, Deadpool!), Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel, and Luke Cage (Power Man). This makes the third set of collectibles in game, after Character Covers and Support Items.

Costumes are only for looks, customization and bragging. As of now alternative character costumes do not grant extra powers or abilities, but that may change.

An innovative cosplayer, Kozmo-Kai designs his own costumes and edits his own photos. Not only that, Kozmo also adds a unique touch to each costume. Surprised Pikachu Meme

Now this is a meme we can get behind. The nice little electric mouse Pokemon Pikachu is back in at top.
