Who Has The Infinity Gems, and What Are They?

Marvel MCU All Infinity Stones

The Infinity Gems (or Infinite Stones for the Marvel movie universe) are the most powerful items, or collectibles, in the galaxy, and possibly the universe. In Marvel comics there are six infinity gems, but no one is certain if all six will be in the movie. We expect six, because of The Collector saying so in Thor: The Dark World.
First, lets look at the Infinity Gems in the comics. Continue reading “Who Has The Infinity Gems, and What Are They?”

Actual Mitch Hedberg Donut Receipt

An employee for a donut shop created an actual receipt paying tribute to comedian Mitch Hedberg, and posted it on Reddit.

Mitch Hedberg was known for many one liners, but one joke had carried on way past just his fans. Mitch said he bought a donut and was handed a receipt. “You don’t need to bring paper into this” and “I will file it under D, for donut” was some of the popular lines for the joke. Jurassic World

With new concept art now out, and details of the plot coming together, it is starting to look like Jurassic World may be a great movie.

I have started looking into more details about the up and coming 4th Jurassic Park movie, called Jurassic World. And I have to say, the more I find the more interested and exciting I become. The story is nothing too complicated, someone buys the park and thinks they can do it better. This fits well with the budget and cast, creating an all around bigger and better park, I mean world.

In the newly released concept art, you can plainly see a more modern and resort-style dino-friendly retreat.

Casting for Jurassic World
None of the original cast members are said to be in the next movie, at least not as main characters. This starts a fresh story in the series, with some familiar roles. Continue reading “Jurassic World”

New Full Godzilla Trailer – More Lizard Back Shots

Well today we have the release of the “full” official Godzilla trailer. Although this wins me over with cool camera shots and cast, it doesn’t see really too much more than the first “teaser” trailer.

Godzilla is at it again as the mysterious hard to see nuclear lizard monster. So big we just don’t know how to stop him/her. The hulk. We need the hulk. Since remakes are coming left and right out of everywhere in Hollywood, its hard to say how well this will do. It looks interesting, with shots much like the movies Chronicles or Super 8, but with more glimpse of the big monster.

Origins of Guardians of the Galaxy

Original published in 1969 by Marvel, Guardians of the Galaxy took place in another Universe, although sometimes tying in with other stories in later publishings. It was only recently in 2008 that they were recreated and added to the current Marvel Universe. In fact, many characters in Guardians of the Galaxy regularly interact with other Marvel Characters.

311 Five of Everything: Song Review and Lyrics

Here we will review, hear, see the lyrics, and discuss the song meaning of 311’s new song track form their upcoming album Stereolithic, due out March 11th 2014. (Yup, 3-11)

I cannot help but see the beauty in the irony surrounding this new song. Usually, when 311 is releasing an album they do ridiculous amounts of publicity, and usually say this album will sound like their old stuff. Well, this song does sound like a great blend of old and new 311, getting fans hyped to see what the album brings.

Unlike more recent 311 album track releases, this one is surprisingly dedicated to that pure 311 sound, Continue reading “311 Five of Everything: Song Review and Lyrics”

Benedict Cumberbatch Could Play Namor

After seeing his work in Sherlock and Star Trek: Into Darkness, I believe I know the perfect role for Benedict Cumberbatch. He could play the villain or anti-hero, Namor: The Submariner.

Only problem with this is Namor is not currently said to be in any upcoming Marvel movies. But since he is a well known and classic character of Marvel, I would not be surprised if he is worked in somewhere for Marvel movies’ phase 3.

Family Guy – Is Brian Dead and Gone Permanently?

brian dead of family guy replacedToo many people’s surprise, in the 6th episode of Family Guy, aired Sunday 11-24-2013, they claimed to have killed off the laid back yet critical dog, Bryan. But id this death permanent? Fox and creator of Family Guy (who also does the voice for Brian) both say this is for real. Brian will not be coming back as a main character. However, how far can you trust the writer/creator of Family Guy.

Acapella Video Game Songs – The Legend of Smooth McGroove

Recently, a social media friend shared a video of a man with a cat and a beard doing a full vocal only acapella version of the legendary Zelda theme. Although I laughed and had seen the humor in this, I also could not deny the raw talent and skills it took to do this, and decided to search for more of his work.

You can find Smooth McGroove on YouTube and many websites, we just want to help spread the word with a few acapella video game song posts.
